Looking for a valid source to get training material on asthma and etc.

Hi to all,

Need a great valid and legit souce to get accurate training material for asthma and etc. I have to do training on varies subjects and one of them is asthma..I want to find a website that breaks in down in simple terms so that everyone can understand.

my suggestions would be to do some online research. i did a google on "teaching about asthma" and several dozen excellent sources came up.

remember if this is for school you cannot take it directly and claim it as your own. but take the information, put it in your own words and give the source credit in your bibliography.

As an asthmatic with asthmatic siblings, I found the Allergy & Asthma Network/Mothers of Asthmatics site to have wonderful resources written for the lay person. They often will send out copies of their materials for free for patient education purposes. (I worked as a secretary in a low income medical clinic and they sent a whole box of materials and books in English and Spanish for children, parents and other adults for the nurse educator to use at a clinic health fair)

I plan to take The National Asthma Educator certification (NAECB) . Did anyone took it , any advice will help .
