No nurse can work in Australia unless registered as a Registered Nurse with the national board. As health care at this time is delivered by health professionals in English, your nursing education must be assessed by AHPRA and you must pass an English test before you can work as a nurse, once you have done this then you can approach a hospital for sponsorship, only once you are a Registered Nurse in Australia.
Please be advised though sponsorships at this time are difficult to obtain as there is no nursing shortage in Australia, though some specialties have a shortage in experienced nurses.
