Hi all! I'm a NS in my last semester, and I have my last unit exam this upcoming Monday! I have many many books and other resources to look for questions, but I have exhausted them all. Can someone give me some questions or provide me a link with questions about respiratory topics like :
-Vents
-head&neck cancer
-ABG's (not really priority, I'm pretty good on them, but you can throw me a few )
-chest tubes
-pneumothorax, subcutaneous emphysema, and the like.
Please, and thank you in advance everyone!!

If you have books, then these types of questions will be in them. Answering more questions wont help. Understanding the rationale behind a moderate amount will. Any NCLEX review book will have respiratory NCLEX review questions in it. They usually also come with either a CD or online passcode to online student test banks and study materials. All of which cost money. I am not trying to be rude, but if you want the questions then purchase material. Everyone who could provide you questions will have had to purchase them. Or maybe see if a classmate has an NCLEX book theyd be willing to share with you or study out of with you.
thaaanks. one of the many pre-requisites for nursing school is to buy a million supplemental books-resources which i've already exhausted. that's why i'm asking here now. I appreciate the time you took to respond, but it came off as a little rude.
Just because I'm the only one who spoke up, does not mean I was the only one thinking it. What I said was not rude. I'm sorry you feel that my not wanting to give away resources that I paid for to a stranger online rude. I advised you to ask a study buddy or friend from school what resources they may have for you. Anything free, you can google and wouldn't need to ask here. Every other good NCLEX resource requires loggins to publishers websites and giving away your login or copy pasting the questions without consent from the publisher is copyright infringement. I wish you well in nursing school and this site has been great for helping me and other students figure things out. But one thing it is not, is a place to get free access to publisher resources. If that is not what you were asking for, then your question was not written well to convey what you were looking for. And like I said before, answering more questions wont help you. Studying the rationale behind the questions you do have access to and understanding the material WILL help you. GL

I agree with mrsboots87. Anything you need to know for the NCLEX will be in your study resources, or you can Google. Go through your textbooks to review these topics if they're a struggle for you. Those and NCLEX content reviews (I used Kaplan, but there are others like Saunders or Hurst) will be your best resources.
And I would disagree with you that mrsboots87 was rude- she gave you an honest answer, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.
