Looking at relocating from Ohio to NC or SC

I'm a fairly new grad, graduated in November 2008, been working in Ohio now for just over 6 months as an RN. But, I'm very unhappy with the area in which my family and I live. So I was looking into either North Carolina or South Carolina, primarily coastal regions. I was wondering if there was any one out there in these forums that is familiar with these areas? Say like - Wilmington, NC., Charleston, SC., Myrtle Beach, SC., Beaufort, SC., Interested in anything you can tell me!

charleston's wonderful. lived in the area all of my life. there are jobs for rn's. the weather is hot sticky and humid. we have a number of hospitals, musc, va, roper, st. francis, east cooper, trident, and summerville. the moncks corner (rural area about 30 miles in) area was just approved for two small facilities 50 beds each, though there is some controversy about it. tell what details you want and i'll be back if not tonight, tomorrow.
