Looking for online, accredited Anatomy and Physiology series course (lab not needed)

Published

Hey all! So I'm looking for an online Anatomy and Physiology series. I need it to be:

-at least four credits

-completely online preferably, or few proctored exams

-no lab component necessary, but will take it if that's the only way to get 4 credits

-not crazy expensive!

-from an accredited university or community college (it needs to transfer over to Bastyr University in Washington state for their Masters in Midwifery program)

Thanks in advance!

Your expectation of an A and P class are unrealistic. I find it hard to believe that anyone would accept an Anatomy class without a lab component. The lab component is usually what gives it that last credit hour to make it four.

If you want to take a reputable Anatomy class, you are more than likely going to have to take an in person class. And you need to make sure that any class's you find will transfer in.

Look at Maricopa Community Colleges in AZ. Cheap, even out of state and I'm pretty sure they're accredited as they have a strong BSN/ADN program in place. Maricopa Community Colleges Rio Salado College is about 85% online.

Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado was offering an online A&P last year. I'm not sure if they still have it, or any other information about it, since I opted for an in residence course at another school, but it could be worth looking into.
