Entering nursing school happens only after academic testing, physical, drug screening, official transcripts, interview, paperwork, payment and all sorts of documentation and deadlines. Seeing as January starts in a little over a week, I'd stay away from any program that would be willing to take you (unless 80k in debts from a non-accredited school is what you're looking for, in which case, just scribble a nursing license in crayon for the same results). If you're dead-set on getting started, sign up for pre-reqs at your local community college. It will get you started.
Hello I am currently looking for a 9-12 month LPN program to attend in the Cleveland Ohio area I would like to start something in January I know that may seem unrealistic but I am pressed for time I was looking into ATS Institute but from what I viewed on here I'm a little apprehensive now...does anyone have any advice? I also ABSOLUTELY NEED something that can be accredited preferably a school that allows me to transfer and continue at Hondrous to get my RN then BSN. Also I looked into and really liked the idea of attending Cuyahoga Valley Career Center this past summer in August but I missed the opportunity due to their $500 out of pocket administrative seat fee.[/quote'] I don't know about January, but I'm attending Central School of Practical Nursing and it starts March 31st...

Hey Jade! I am unable to send private messages so I figured I would reply to you on here. I've done my entrance exams and my information session. I did the drug test and background check last week. I keep trying to go turn in all my application materials but the school is closed for snow, so hopefully it will finally reopen Wednesday and I can go. How far into the admissions process are you?
I am curious why are you so pressed for time?[/quote']This...
If you were not able to make your self imposed deadline since it's January; please at least sign up at your local community college and start pre-req's as another poster suggested. You came start in the summer and have another option of getting your pre-req's out the easy for a ADN or a BSN program.
