Hi there!!!!
Frens m an IEN and recently cleared crne in feb and my immigration status is permanent resident. My situation is that i am outside canada presently due to some unavoidable circumstances. My question is:
Is it wise to apply for RN job from outside Canada?
what is the job vacancy scenario in ontario?
Shall i apply drectly or via some placement agency?
your suggestions would be appreciated....

You can start sending resumes online to get the process going. Be ready and willing to accept ANY nursing job to start out. The job prospects in ON are slim. Too many applicants, few jobs. Also consider rural ON. You might have better luck.

There's jobs.. just go out and apply. A handful of my friends got hired (temporary registration too, I'm kinda jealous knowing they already have a job), however, since i live close to the Michigan border and I live in Canada, I'm writing the NCLEX exam to cover my bases so I have a better chance of getting a job.

Where are you going to live in Ontario? Has that been decided. Because that will have an impact on where you should apply. Ontario is a big, big province - if you living in Toronto, you don't want to apply to a hospital in Thunder Bay!
