Hi everyone,
I am almost done with my first semester in nursing school. Two more weeks left!
I am looking for a job in the medical field whether it be receptionist, clerical, nurses aid duties, anything! I just want to try and get my foot in the door some way some how. I have been looking on hospital websites at their job openings, but I was wondering, should I just apply online through their website? Or should I actually go into the hospital and try and apply in person? Same with doctors offices, should I call around and ask if they are hiring?
I haven't had to look for a job in so long I don't know what the proper way would be!
Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I would try and go online to the hospitals or places that interest you. Some of the hospitals in my area (south FL) will allow you to work as a PCT/CNA after your first semester of nursing school and it can be a way to get your foot in the door. Good Luck!

Just check & see. But, many places today will not even look at a paper application; they require on-line submission of appl. (& resume, if requested). That said, often HR makes a computer terminal aval. to call up & submit your appl.
