I am looking for someone who was born outside of the US who is now living in the US. The questions are about your culture. If you are interested please respond here or send me a private message.
Thanks!
Anyone?? It is for a project at school.

Can you please be much more specific as to what you are looking for, or you are going to find difficulties in getting anyone to help you here. You have to understand that we have no idea as to who you are.
We try to be helpful, but it has turned and burned a few. So without much more information, most are going to be very nervous to contact you.
Are you a nursing student? What type of class is this for? What specific types of questions? Culture can mean many different things to many different people.
Yes I am a nursing student, it is for my fundamentals class. We are doing this paper on cultural & spiritual diversity and how different cultures or religions view health care and things like that. I have quite a few questions such as what role religious leaders have in the prevention/treatment of illness in your culture, typical practices in your culture, how are dying people cared for, etc. The point of the exercise is to learn more about different cultures so we can be more accommodating to people of different backgrounds while we are caring for them.
One of the best books that I have found on that topic and that I used for my students is the Mosby's Cultural Health Assessment, from their pocket guide series.
It goes over each country and specifics for patients from there. Quite helpful.

Yes I have that book but we also have to interview someone for the project. We were able to get international students at our college to volunteer to do the interviews. Thanks!

This book is not accurate to put it gently. My impression that the author had very small idea about many cultures.
Unfortunately, it is probably the best that is out there right now. Better than most that I have seen. Would love to see someone actually write a truly comprehensive book on the different cultures. This has been the best that I could come up with when I was teaching overseas.
