looking for some input

Specialties NP

Published

i have recently begun looking into the path from doing a 1 yr program here in the area to complete my bsn to working in the neonatology unit to being able to get my np in neonatology.

i have searched online everywhere and can not find much information on what the training is like or where it would be offered. i would also like to find out more about the realities of day to day life...how are you treated by physicians? what do you do? etc i certainly have an image in my mind but i would like to know how much with the reality of the situation it intersects.

if anyone has any input it would be very greatly appreciated

Hi there - just wanted to welcome you. Are you an RN now? If not, definitely the BSN is the way to go if you think, even remotely, of becoming an advanced practice nurse. There will be people along to help more than I can in a little bit. Good luck.
