Looking to help my wife..

In my school I found that the quizzes were exactly based off of the textbook. For myself, I just read the text usually the night before and highlighted the important stuff and then reread that. I was able to get nearly all A's on the daily quizzes. However everyone learns differently. She may need to make flash cards or just rewrite things in notes to get the info to stick. A lot of people in my class also had study groups which was helpful for them. My school also offered extra tutoring for people struggling, have her check if that's available.

Hello folks! I am hoping that I am posting this in the right area, but if I am not sorry
Well, here's my problem; my wife is currently in school working on her LPN, and she seems to have run into a brick wall with these quizzes that are given. Up to this point she has held a high B with her grades, and this part of the course is really getting her down, almost to the point of failing . I would really like to support/help her with this, but have no clue where to start (I am a computer geek, best medical experience I have is all the medical shows I watch with my wife ).
Any advice is welcome!

hi, love to help but I need a little more info. What is she studying right now. Is it peds, mental health ect. She's got to think nursing process, what would I do if this happened to my patient and ask herself these questions as she studies. get back to us with more info. And what a wonderfull hubby you are.

Get an nclex-pn book. Saunders is good. Whatever section she is doing in school, review that section and have her do all the questions related to that section. Then after doing the questions, read the rationals as why one answer is better than the others. Nursing questions have the distintion from other subjects in that all or most of the answer can be correct, you have to figure out which is the MOST correct. The rationals will help her understand this part better.
