hi Lunah
no i have not yet registered..my ECE credential verification just came through and I have an email from the admissions saying i qualify for acceptance...so i am putting my paperwork together for the admissions application this weekend.
i was hoping to get a head start on the prep by nailing my exam date as soon as possible and studying from that perspective.
also could you recommend the most straightforward and least expensive way to study for these courses?
any online prep, or CDs/books on ebay...i am desperately looking to cut costs on my program ...
god bless ya!

You have to register/pay for the exams through EC's website. You then go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/excelsior and register yourself with Pearson VUE as an EC student (and you have to know your student ID number, which should show up at the top of your "MyEC" page. After you pay for the exams on EC's website, you have to wait 24-48 hours for your eligibility to show up in your Pearson VUE account. Then you schedule it on the Pearson VUE website.
You can definitely take the first two nursing exams without paying the enrollment fee! Putting that off will save you money in the long run because when you enroll, it starts the clock ticking toward your $440 student services annual fee, due on the anniversary of your enrollment.
I replied in your other post about cheap materials. I understand the need for cost-cutting!! :)
