Hi,
Actually this is for my wife who has been struggling in trying to enter LVN program at Rio Hondo but her transfer GPA core pre-nursing are not very high, eventhough her general GPA are ok. Now we are thinking of finding some other good schools where tuition is not too high and offer fast LVN program within 1 yr or so (she is in early 40's but look young - so time is important:).
Her future plan is to go to RN but it is a long goal for now. Any suggestion from any graduates from those schools are greatly appreciated.

If your wife's prerequisite GPA is not very high, I would suggest a private, expensive LVN program. These schools tend to not pay attention to GPA or previous college course work, and you will be in and out in 1 year. The only drawback is the high price of tuition. When I attended a Southern California LVN program 2 years ago, the tuition was $20,000.
