Hello all you smart people out there!!I will make this as short as possible. I am currently a LVN/LPN student.I am nearly done with the program. My long term goal is to become a Physician Assistant. And I want the shortest way to accomplish my goal. I was told to start taking my prereq.and enroll in the PA program as Riverside Community College.RCC offers the PA Certificate program. Is this good or bad? If anyone has any advise please list steps in the order I should go. thank you

Hi! Could you please not post with your "caps lock" key on? Thanks! Typing in all caps is really hard to read and is netspeak for SHOUTING.

Klone - I didn't see that her "caps" were on except when she listed the college that she was looking at....which is the proper acro for that college.

Babydoll: How difficult is RCC to get into? I live in that area and I am familiar with the RN program which seems to take an act of congress :p to get into! There would be no reason not to go that route as many people go directly into PA programs. With your LPN school, perhaps some of your classes may help you in that you may have completed some prereqs already - on top of that the LPN will allow you to perhaps work part time while in PA school giving you clinical and assessment skills.

RCC is not the only place that has a PA program depending on where you live. Off the top of my head I can't remember the name of the other one that is close, but I do know it is in pomona. Best of luck!

I don't see where the caps lock is on either.

Anyway...welcome to the board Babydoll.
