how long before i can take nclex rn?

Published

hi im a foreign nursing graduate and am applying for licensure in new york. i already applied for the cgfns and recently they had just submitted the results of their review to the new york state board of nursing. they said to wait within 4-6 weeks before new york board of nursing will contact me regarding my credential verification. i understand that i have to apply for nclex exam at ncsbn.org(new york state board of nursing) by filling up the 'form 1'. and that i have to register directly at pearsonvue. id like to ask, how long will it take for the new york state BoN to determine my eligibility, and pearsonvue to send me my ATT.? probably how many weeks do i have from the moment i apply at new york state BoN, til my ATT arrives? id like to somehow get an idea of how much time i still have to prepare for my exam. given that i havent started yet and that i really really have a lot of ground to cover with regard to my review. thanks guys your answers will be very much appreciated. Hard to day but look at rough time of 1 month although may be longer. Pearsonvue will not issue ATT until fees paid and the BON ok you to sit exam

yes considering i have done everything required for the nclex rn exam, im just trying to get an estimate of the time i'll have to prepare, the whole processing time of the new york state board of nursing and pearson vue before i can take the exam. thanks XD
