Anyone applying? Does anyone know if there is a traditional program for kingwood?

SOB. I just typed up a response and it didn't post. So here it goes again....

I don't have my letter, so I can't go to the site. Go to the website listed on the acceptance letter and follow the directions. You will enter your information and pay but you will not get anything immediately. In the next couple of days, you will receive a document from that place in an email (the email address that you provide) that will show whether or not your SSN was verified. The document is about 5-6 pages and has some mumbo jumbo confidentiality stuff in it. All you need to do is print the page that shows your SSN was verified and turn that in with your completed packet. Hope that helps. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll do a step by step process once I get home.

Finally got everything together and turned it all in to their office in person. V checked through it all and said that it was all good! Big relief! Lol I ordered my scrubs on Mon and I'm picking them up this coming Mon...can't wait! My stethoscope came Thursday afternoon..it's awesome! :) All I have left to get are a few small things and shoes. I finally feel like everything is coming together and I'm SOOOOO ready!!

Also, Prayerful, I don't know if it's the same for your school, but when I turned my papers in yesterday she wanted all 5-6 pages that the SS verification prints out, not just the one page that says verified. So you might want to make certain of that when you turn in your stuff!

For anyone interested, there is a Nursemates shoe store on 1960 apparently. I haven't actually been there, but I found it online and was going to check it out next week to try and find some shoes. Has anyone been there??

I just gave the one page and that seemed to be okay with V. Maybe they were okay cause I FedEx'ed everything over.

I still have not purchased anything...I'm waiting until next month.

Yeah, maybe so. I turned mine in in person and she mentioned that it should have been a 5-6 page packet so I was glad I brought all of it and not just the sheet! Lol

I'm trying to get everything bought since Christmas is coming up! :/ A lot of expense in just a few short months!

I'm not sure where you're located, but I went to a place called Save a Heart in Humble (I think they have another location on the west side) It was $65 and it's a lady that teaches it out of her home.

I went to the other one in Spring that was suggested on our handout. It was $75.00 but well worth it and I would recommend them. The instruction was excellent and there was enough equipment for everyone in the group.

Thanks so much for responses... I found a place already though.. I have officially completely all my paperwork for cyfair... I know most of you on here are kingwood... our orientation is dec 5th whew

Are y'all getting excited? I know I am! This semester is wrapping up and next thing you know we will be in NURSING SCHOOL, finally!!
