Lonestar Fall 2016 hopefuls

Published

Hey everyone. I know it's quite a bit early, but I wanted to see if there were any Fall 2016 hopefuls out there for Lonestar. Please feel free to discuss, ask questions, or talk about any relevant or pertinent information here. I look forward to speaking with you all.

Since lonestar only requires the critical thinking portion on hesi for July 2016 application period. Do i need to have that critical thinking portion for the application that starts from january to march 2016? Thanks

For the application that starts January - March 2016, I believe you would not need to take HESI A2, which is the critical thinking portion, because it would be required after the deadline.

Good luck! I'm planning on applying around that time. Let me know how it goes for you all!

thank you so much for your info nmorera. I am so happy to hear that. i passed everything except critical thinking portion (730 points). i am planing to apply for Jan - March 2016 period. Have you take the Hesi yet nmorera?

The application opens up tomorrow! I'm getting excited. After making an A in Anatomy last semester, I will be at a 7.61 out of 8 and will be applying at Montgomery! Good luck to everyone!!!

Good luck!!! And I have not. Unfortunately, my plan got a little backed up. BUT, I will still be applying. Just gotta wait. In the meantime, more studying for the upcoming HESI test.

Awesome! Good luck!

I wonder if the number of applicants will increase seeing how HCC isnt going to have a nursing program this year.

I feel like I remember reading somewhere that you need to get a 750 in critical thinking.

I took the HESI today what a headache, it was super stressful. It's really sad when you put in the work for these programs and your life depends on this 1 test. The ap section had 25 questions while other subjects had 55. I was an A student and I studied that HESI book and ap score was 76 I barely passed which is a total bummer. I will be lucky to get in but it won't stop me from trying. There is literally no way to study for that test everyone gets different questions. Some people I know got questions on the heart and me I got none and what did I study the heart lol because it's complicated. I'm really nervous now hearing HCC shut down, that means more competition. Good luck to all :)

What did you see on your test, I know you can't put exact questions but any certain organ system? And their functions? Or was it crazy in depth asking what glands secrete what hormone?

i take mine next Thursday í ½í¸ží ½í¸ž
