  1. I got accepted into Montgomery and I have yet to hear anything in regards to the castle branch information. I already have my fingerprints and drug test set up. Just waiting to figure out what to do with castle branch..
  2. Hey guys. I got into Montgomery with a 7.62. That looks to be on the lower end of what number was accepted. This year was super competitive it looks like! I know a lot of people applied that were planning on going to HCC. Best of luck to all of you and I look forward to meeting you all!
  3. has anyone heard anything from Montgomery? Hopefully they send out letters tomorrow morning like NH. congrats to all of you who made it in!
  4. guys just try and stay positive, I know it's been a long wait. It's been hard for me too. i'm just excited at the idea of getting started with my future and potentially making some awesome friends in the process. Keeping my fingers crossed at least for this week to get some kind of announcement if we're in or not lol.
  5. I applied to LSC Montgomery with an overall score of 7.62. Good luck everyone! Looking forward to meeting all of you
  6. The application opens up tomorrow! I'm getting excited. After making an A in Anatomy last semester, I will be at a 7.61 out of 8 and will be applying at Montgomery! Good luck to everyone!!!
  7. Hey everyone. I know it's quite a bit early, but I wanted to see if there were any Fall 2016 hopefuls out there for Lonestar. Please feel free to discuss, ask questions, or talk about any relevant or pertinent information here. I look forward to speaking with you all.
  8. As far as studying for the HESI A&P portion goes, I went through the book that was recommended, and it helped with a lot of the basics. A lot of it was watching YouTube videos about A&P in general. Since I hadn't taken any A&P classes at the point when I had taken my HESI, it was very difficult to know what to expect. The questions are extremely random as A&P is a very broad subject to begin with. The Elsevier guide is a great outline for what you ought to study , but I was surprised about a lot of the terminology that came up on the section of the exam. If I could give advice to anyone who has already taken at least 1 A&P course, it would be to go through your books alongside the Elsevier guide. Look into the details that Elsevier outlines. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me or post here. Best of luck to all of you!
  9. Well I took my HESI yesterday, and I passed with a 90.4 overall. I struggled the most with A&P considering I've never taken the class and still managed to pass A&P with a 76(just barely lol). So on that part of my scoring grid for the nursing application, it should give me a 3.61 or so. I'm already working on an A for A&P so hopefully I'll be at a 7.6 for Montgomery. Keeping my fingers crossed that the score would be enough to get me in.
  10. Is anyone here applying for Montgomery for fall of 2016? If so, do you happen to know what scores I would need in order to be considered? I'm new here so sorry if I missed anything. :)
