Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!
Biggest piece of advice: be flexible. Our year was the first they changed to front load all the labs(skills) and it was ROUGH to say the least lol. Plus side is the whole second year you won't have a lab and will only have lecture and clinical. I have kept really good grades so far but I think you need to find the right way to study and each person is different. They also changed the cut off grade starting this semester to a 75 so if u don't make that you don't continue on. The Saunders NCLEX book is a good review for tests. I work at a hospital so working and school is doable but I am married with no kids.
I'm sure we are always hiring lol st Lukes the woodlands work prn and you get to pick your own shifts. There are a lot of readings for each test but I like to read so I don't mind doing them. You will learn which teachers you can focus on the powerpoints and be fine or others you may need to teach yourself a little more. Modules are done through evolve for lab and they are not hard just don't leave them to the last minute bc some take a lot longer than you would think. Our first semester besides lecture tests every other Monday we had a group culture project, a therapeutic communication assignment, and a care plan. You have one clinical day a week we did Wednesday or Thursday. I don't study everyday I have been luckily enough to do well and only study on weekends. Not everyone is like that tho.

I was accepted into the Tomball program with a 7.29.
Does anyone know of a Facebook group being formed yet?
