Lonestar 2015 fall hopefuls

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

So a friend told me that the mandatory orientation at Montgomery is April 29th, so I would hope that they give people enough notice to arrange for child care and time off if they're working.

Has anyone called about the orientation? That seems awfully close if notifications haven't been made yet I am getting very anxious!!

I wonder what time the orientation is... I have class that day...

I do as well, I am lucky I have night classes but still that is very close. I wonder if they would push that back a little, but then it would give everyone less time for everything else.

How would anyone know when orientation is at this point?

Okay, I just called the Dean at Cy-fair. She didnt know when letters would go out but said that its likely due to the "new curriculum" entered into the computers and such. I asked about the orientation and she said they usually due orientation in June or July for a Fall start program and has not heard anything different. Calm down everyone! lol.....Its only 1 and I think I need a cocktail.

Who was it that was told we should hear something by the 15th? That person should speak with the advisor that told them that.... Sigh... Giving me false hope that I would know today.

I was told by previous hopefuls expect 3-5 weeks :/ with the new system may be towards the 5 week mark.
