Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

Spring housewife your score was way higher than mine, I bet you got into montgomery. They need to hurry Up and get that list back already for you guys! Hang in there!!

Still waiting on Montgomery! I haven't received any letters at all. I am HOPING it is because I DID get into Mont. since I didn't get anything from Tomball (my 2nd choice). This is stressful, I just want to know for sure!

OMG!!! I was accepted in to Cyfair!!! Finally, I was in tears waiting and constantly checking my email all day. I'm so happy. To all that are waiting, they are still sending them out you are all in my prayers.

springhousewife and krw2013, Im in the same boat as yall. I think I've checked my emails about a gazillion times the past few days. When I called yesterday the guy told me that it could be another week or two. I told him I don't understand how alternates for Montgomery have already received their email and how other people whose first choice was Montgomery have already been accepted into other campuses... I'm confused on how they process everyone and whats taking so long. He said he wasn't sure how anyone has received an alternate email to Montgomery because nothing had been sent out yet. So stressfull!! I just want to know!!

I am new in the forum, I've following secretly but now that I know I would just like to share I got accepted to ADN Tomball!!!!. I am very excited and wish luck to everyone. I can't wait to get all the paperwork and requirements ready. I almost cried when I found out:)

Question for everyone: have yall been told that the program runs through the summer of 2015? i was just given that piece of news today while meeting an academic advisor about a financial aid appeal. I was always under the impression it was fall spring, fall spring.
