Lone Star Fall 2020

Published

It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.

I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).

Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

Hi I’m having trouble getting together my hep b Shots. I got my booster shot back in February, because I got a negative titer. But I haven’t gotten any since then. Do y’all know if I put another booster shot right now in June, when the third one will be? Thanks

Are you applying to the Spring ‘21?

If you got a booster back in Feb, you should have a positive immunity now ? just go get that quantitative titer tested, and if it’s positive, then that’s all you’ll need to submit for your heb B records.

Yes I am:) Thank you?

This long wait?

Anyone have a basic idea of approximately how many applicants each ADN program has per cycle? Really hope we all learn our acceptance decisions by the end of the week so we can start preparing And buying the junk we need ?

Last year was 600ish, we won’t know this year until they send letters out

I emailed the lady over kingwood and she said “hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of applicant” LOL

I'm taking the HESI in a week and was wondering, do I need to test in ALL of the subjects? On the LSC CyFair website it doesn't mention Chemistry or Physics, so I'm assuming I don't need to take those sections, right? Or do I need to take all sections?

You take the HESI sections based on the school you’re applying to. For lonestar you don’t need Chemistry or physics. You need Reading,Grammar,,Vocabulary/General Knowledge, Anatomy & Physiology,Math, and Critical Thinking. If you’re applying to other schools, make sure to check with them. I know Chamberlain requires Chem. Hope that helps ?
