Lone Star Fall 2017 ADN Hopefuls

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Any alternates heard anything lately?

i was an alternate and received a call from cy fair campus few days ago to attend adn program :)

What was your score? I'm at 6.92 and still havent got a call

@almondance I didn't cyfair as a choice so I'm hoping I'm next in line for one of my schools of choice!

@Readyrnot Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you! I started a new job and have been taking micro.

Just be ready to hit the ground running, it will move very fast and that usually catches people off guard in the beginning. You will start out going over Role of the Nurse content which will be a good intro but it speeds up after that. Don't be afraid to ask question, most of the upper levels won't mind and will answer to the best of their ability. You will have the opportunity to buddy up with a mentor so take it! But don't let anyone scare you, the instructors or us upper levels. Do you know who you have for clinical?

Did you guys get into the program? I'm worried about my score and wanted to know what type of scores others got accepted with.

Did you get in???

Hey,

can I ask what did you mean by your provider ordered the wrong hep B?

Hi. I applied today at Cyfair for ADN program with a 7.472. I hope it gets me in. I did not want to retake the HESI. I took it once and Honestly did good without studying for it. I missed spring 2107 because my provider order wrong hep B. And almost missed for fall 2017 for same reason but I got it all in today. Now feeling nervous.

What do you mean by your provider ordered the wrong hep B?

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with what the schedule was like at the Montgomery campus for the adn program ? Thanks!

Hey @futurernmalanie did you get into nursing school?
