Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Kind of off topic here...Do you guys know of any good neighborhoods or apartments to live in close to North Harris? Or at least close enough for a short drive? I have a kid and really don't want to live in an unsafe apartment complex. Online reviews are helpful but I would really like to hear from any one on here too.

Does anyone know when they will send email with Texas BON background check instructions.

The School sends your name to Bon and then Bon mails you the blue card directly to your home after clearing you,but if you already have a blue card from previously, then you can scan in that one to castle branch,

So we have to do the fingerprinting before they send our name or what?

No fingerprinting is not for everyone! The school sends everyone's name and those that need to be fingerprinted will be alerted by bon/school..I think fingerprint has to do with what kind of record the person might have..Not sure

I have already completed this since I was accepted to Cyfair LVN, but everyone has to do the fingerprinting. I got the email for it about 4-5 weeks after I was accepted. I got my fingerprints done and then got a blue card from BON a week after stating I was clear. Doesn't take long at all if you have a clear background.

Actually everyone does not have to do the fingerprinting.. I got my blue card and uploaded it without doing fingerprinting.. Call your school for more info on that..

"If you do not receive the code, the BON has you on file, and they will confirm with me. I will only send the code to the people they identify as needing fingerprinting"
