Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Hi all! I will be applying to the ADN program I have a 6.9 right now but am retaking the HeSi next month to get my score over 7! Cyfair is my first choice and tomball is my second. Anyone take the hesi recently and remember any specifics on the A&P portions or math? I did well on everything else. Thanks and good luck to all!!

Thanks YvetteT! I had to retake my English because I had a B when I took it years ago and I'm glad I did. Try not to stress, there will be enough of that when the nursing classes start! Good Luck!

This thread doesn't have very many people compared to previous years. It makes me wonder if there will be less applicants.

Oh I am sure there will be plenty of applicants! Especially when HCC opened theirs again the requirements are difficult. I hope there aren't many applicants! More chances of getting in!!! I hope to get in and meet all of you guys!

I am sure you will!! I am retaking the HESI again due to circumstances but I am praying all of us get in!

I believe so. I looked online for their requirements.

Can anyone tell me if pharmacology is required before applying to lonestar??

Not required, but if you take it beforehand (within 1-2 years I think) you dont have to take it during the program witch lowers your workload the first semester, so take it if you can ! I'm taking the 8 week online course that starts March 20th

I might see if they offer it in the summer! I pray I do wonderful tomorrow on the HESI and get accepted! We shall see!
