Lone Star Fall 2017 ADN Hopefuls

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

I'm studying for pharmacology as we speak! Lol. I'm taking it at tomball too as i mentioned before, but it's the 8 week course. It's difficult o my because there is so much to memorize !! Taking it with AP2 could be tough but I agree.. better than taking it while in the nursing program!

AP2 is difficult, but not impossible. I did mine in the summer too! I would really suggest reading through the endocrine chapter before you start the class. The rest of the chapters really connect with the nervous system and endocrine system. So if you can go over endocrine on your own, when you start the class it might be easier to handle.

Wow that is so great to know I thought it was 2 years at all of the campuses! Hmm but there are 4 semesters so how does that work?

You have school through summer. With just a few weeks off in between semesters. So basically no summer! I'm pretty sure it's all the campuses

Oh I see thanks so much for that info! I had no idea.. I thought we get summers off and they were regular semesters. Im getting so anxious guys! This week is almost over!!!

I read that cyfair is the only one that is the most similar to BSN program, curriculum wise. So you have the option to take your last semester in the summer instead of the fall.

Not sure how or that part works, I just know that the program in general is 18months through most of summer

I know north Harris is 4 semesters and no summers. You finish may 2019. I am also taking pharm online this summer with lee jerls.. I'm nervous bc I have heard we really need to understand the material bc we will need it in nursing! Maybe we can form a study group this summer!
