Lone Star Fall 2017 ADN Hopefuls

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Does anyone have an understanding as to how they select students for the program with considering 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice etc. it seems like they must take all the scores from each campus and take the highest that way as oppose to just considering the top scores at the campus of your choice. The reason i say that is bc if NH to accept more students I would think that most applicants would be accepted if it was the first choice however, you see that students who choose other campuses as a alternative get in before those who have selected it as their first choice. Am I making sense? Lol

We were told at the info meeting that they basically put all the applications for all campuses in one spread sheet by score and then just go down the list. If the first choice campus is available when they get to your name then that's what you get. If they are full then they go to your second choice.

Does anyone know if the open spots are distributed equally among all of the open campuses? Or are there different campuses that have more open spots? Any assistance with this question would be greatly appreciated.

Nh accepts 120. The other campuses vary between 30 and 40

Thank you! The next few weeks are going to anxiety filled. Wish they would put stats up on how many applicants for each campus.

I agree!!!! From what I saw everyone on here has great scores so no need to worry. Now me on the other hand, only God will get me in at this point.

Someone else posted 8-5 m-F. I read online it's for the first 3 weeks and then it goes back to your schedule. I think by the third week is when clinical a start if I am not mistaken. Best of luck.
