Lone Star Fall 2017 ADN Hopefuls

Published

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Thank y'all for the encouraging words.

Not that this place any part in admission to the program, but I have already taken micro, A&P 2, humanities credit, and general psychology. I feel like that would significantly decrease the course load if I was accepted. Has anyone else taken some courses included in the curriculum already as well?

I've also taken pharmacology fall of 2014, but I definitely would want to retake that course as a refresher.

Yes, that way the main focus is on NURSING. I don't see how others have done the nursing program on top of these other heavy classes (A&P, Micro, Pharm). But I guess where there's a will there's a way!

Taking the HESI on the 20th! Super nervous. Hoping to get in this fall.

Good luck!!!!!!

Math was my highest score 94% and honestly, it was because I worked all the sample questions in the Elsevier HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review Book, 4th Ed. and I used this link also > HESI A2 Math Practice Test - Hesi A2 Practice Test

The questions in this link are very similar to the questions in the actual HESI. I specifically remember only getting 3 questions regarding the conversions, and they were Liter = mL, grams = Mg, Quarts = pints. Also, I got 1 military time conversion question. A lot of Proportions/Ratios, for example: 7:10::14:x In addition, there was a lot of Decimal to %, % to Decimal, Fraction to %. And the rest, which were half the questions on the test, were basic division/multiplication/addition/subtraction of fractions w/ mixed numbers.

You will do great ch105!

@nette renee, can you share the link to your YouTube video on the HESI?

So March 27 is coming up and then checking my email every day!! Who is as nerves as I am?!

I applied to all four locations as well. I have a B in A&P putting my score at a 7.0 . It will be a close call if I get accepted. I'm hoping there's not as many applicants either since I haven't seen many threads for fall 2017. I read somewhere that most people don't jump in on the conversations until after the application deadline, so I guess we will see!

I am very nervous!!! Did anyone get an email saying their application was received? When I applied to Cyfair for LVN they sent me an email the day after I dropped off my application. I turned in my app for the RN program to Montgomery and didn't receive anything.

I turned my application for Cyfair ADN program and I received an email stating they received it and my points. I have read in previous posts that Some people who applied to Montgomery did not get an email.

Go submit your app again online. An email should have been sent stating they received your app

I dropped my application off. Montgomery you email?
