Lone Star College LVN hopefuls Fall 2019

Published

Wondering who all applied to the LVN program with Lone Star College for Montgomery and Kingwood for this coming Fall 2019. I got tired of waiting on an alternate letter or rejection letter for the ADN program for M, T, CF, and NH. I wonder if they were waiting to submit letters just to see if we weeded ourselves out by applying to a different program. I was going to apply for the CF, K ADN program on June 3rd along with the LVN program but I was told we couldn’t apply to more than one at a a time.

Congratulations on entering CyFair! Keep us updated, if possible after your 1st semester ?

I feel that the LVN school workload may be similar to ADN. I was looking at the program pathway and they have listed about 6 classes per semester for the year. That seems like a lot especially compared to the 3 classes I took for KW ADN. But thank you for responding and good luck to you too!!

Yes. I’m a little scared to hold 7 classes this Summer semester. Luckily I did the non nursing classes ahead of time + Pharmacology so I don’t have to do those during the program for both the LVN and ADN.

I will keep you posted on how it goes. Time flies by right before it starts. I have so much to do and get beforehand.

I'm glad you got a few classes done and out of the way, but 7 classes?! I really wish you the best of luck! You can do it?! Don't worry I know you will get everything done on time. Let me know if I can help you in any way ? Yes, keep me posted ?

Hello all,

I'm interested in the LVN program. Was wondering what range of scores would be considered accepted/alternate/decline?

Hi, I'm applying this year for the Lvn program. Is a 7.284 a good enough score to be considered?
