Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!
I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol

My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!
And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!
Hi there. I'm new to the board except for the lurking part... I applied to LSC-Montgomery for the ADN basic track and I am extremely impatient, checking my emails all the time as well. I couldn't take it anymore so yesterday I went to talk to them to ask if they at least sent rejection letters so I am not waiting and wondering if I got in for no reason. Anyways - the guy said that they were having problems so their new deadline to get their letters out is MAY 13!!!! I was saying that to a girl in my Pharm class and she said that she heard that as well yesterday morning. I don't know if he meant it was just the Montgomery campus or not, especially as someone here said Tomball is sending out their letters tomorrow. AARGH!!! I can't handle this waiting or the confusion.
I spoke this morning with Mrs. Kendall, the nursing director at Montgomery. She said she's throwing that out as a date to get everyone off her back as she has been receiving too many angry phone calls and emails! But she also said that there is a strong possibility of next week. This is so hard but I'm trying to stay busy and patient!!
I just spoke with the NH Department Director and she would not give me any information AT ALL. I swear she talked me in a circle. I'm so confused and frustrated with this whole process. The NH Nursing Advisor, Juanita Garcia, is apparently off today, but the Director said that they have someone else in the office who'll be sending out notification letters.
Trying to stay sane through this is only the work of God!!
Okay, let's put the pieces of the puzzle together; Ms. Garcia said definitely this week and the director said there is someone else in the office to send out letters, so it might happen this afternoon or tomorrow max.
