2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls

Published

Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough. :sorry:

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations!!!

I just got accepted into the Kingwood program, any information on the day and evening programs would be great please. Is the evening lecture from 5:30 to 8pm plus lab somewhere before? and what are the day program hours with lab? just trying to get info since we have to pick on our letter of intent.

thanks in advance

For Kingwood:

Day class is 9:30-11:50AM two days a week (days change so I'm not sure but most likely Wednesday/Thursday). Sometime after class on either day you will have lab. So lab can be 1-3, 3-5.

Night class is 5:30-7:50PM two days a week, but for night class you can have lab before or after class.

Thank you very much for all your great information. I would have thought you would be in class 5 days a week. What schedule did you prefer?

CONGRATS to all. I got in the alternate list. Really not expecting to be in for the spring since I'm sure no one will decline.

Hi Braulio,

Don't give up yet. Speaking from personal experience.... You just won't know until the deadline is up for the selected ones. I wish you best of luck !

Does anybody know where they offer the fast track Hepatitis B series shots? I received the first shot out of the three because I didn't have immunity, but I didn't know we were supposed to have all three shots done by December 5th. Unfortunately, my doctors office doesn't offer the fast track option, so I won't be done with the whole series until late January.

I go to a clinic in spring called express family clinic. Tell them you need the fast seris that can be done in around a month...you just have to get the 3 shots on the dot every 2 wks or so..

Thank you! I will give them a call tomorrow.

I also got my Hepatitis shot 1 out of 3 but it is not a fast track version...jesus take the wheel

Can we just edit the documents sent by Ms. Agurrie on microsoft word? Or do we have to turn it in person

If you're talking about the intent to enroll form then you can just print it, fill it out, scan it, and email it to her. She'll email you back once she receives it!
