2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls

Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough. :sorry: :down:

I emailed one of the counselors at Cyfair and asked about the LVN program because I wasn"t aware that you could apply for both programs at the same time and she gave me the dates of the next open dates for both programs and she also told me "FYI, I think information is going out today to people who've been accepted into the program from the application period that closed recently. Others may be on the alternate list."

Well I hope so, but I didn't apply to Cyfair.

Do you think she was talking about the LVN program though? Someone stated earlier that she had received an acceptance email for the LVN program. Not sure if she mentioned what campus....

Im not sure if she meant for LVN or RN they both had the same application deadlines but I was told by Mrs Anderson that I should know something about the RN program in Oct and I applied for Cyfair as my first option and Kingwood as my second

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully we will not have to wait until October to find out, on the LSC website info pages it states that notifications will be sent in September.

If not this week then next week. In the meantime you could get your CPR certification :-)
