Maybe they're going in order from the applications were submitted? :) I wonder how they choose who to contact first? ! Probably people who submitted applications by the priority deadline and on :) so nothing to worry about Krys!

Hi everyone!

I got my acceptance call yesterday, hopefully I'll get to be friends with some of you guys soon! Congratulations guys!

When I talked with the admissions director yesterday, she said we would be getting our emails today or tomorrow!

Hi Krys22,

I just wanted to ask you about being on the waiting list, I applied for sping and was placed on the waiting list. Did you go any further with LLU, did you attempt to contact them and kept in touch with them throughout the waiting period?

No I did not contact them because they will contact you if a opening comes up. I was on the waitlist for Fall 2014 and NOTHING so they called me to see if I wanted to be reviewed for Winter 2015 and I said yes ! And nothing !!! Than they called and asked if I wanted to be CONSIDERED FOR Spring 2015 and I said no. So they pulled my application. I felt like they were just dragging me along . Which is super annoying because we get hopeful that were on the waiting list . But yeah I got accepted to a community college program so I saved myself a lot of money so I'm happy lol goodluck with your adventure (:

Thank you for the reply, I just wanted to see what my next option would be because it was the only school I applied to for spring.

When you spoke to them did they ever mentioned that the waiting list was short or your position on the list?

ALWAYS apply to more than one school to ensure you have a back up plan incase your plans don't fall through .

No they said they were unable to tell me that information . I also did EVERYThing that the portal asked for such as background check etc .

But still two semesters went by and I was still waitlisted. It really sucks that they don't tell us what spot we are .

Hi Emma,

I will be honest, you need to get a higher teas score with your gpa being 3.0. Also, fall class is the most competitive, you will compete with students who are 3.5 gpa+ with a teas 85+.

However, I don't know your full story such as EC or your connection with SDA. Sometimes it is not about what you know but who you know.

If you haven't already, Your best bet is to talk to the Admissions Director, Heather, to get your name across in and your sincerity about the nursing field. She will also give you a better perspective of where you stand with your current stats.

Hoping that maybe you guys are still around, but how is Loma Linda?! I applied for the winter of 2016. And heard back with an interview so far. Judging from the dates, I'm guessing that I won't hear back with an acceptance or rejection around late October? Seems so far.
