Published

Hello Fellow New Grads!

Just wanted to start a post for LLUCH's RN Residency starting march 2014. What unit did everyone apply? Good luck everyone!

Way to go!!!!!! How exciting. You are on a roll.[/quote

Thank you :)

Hey csu1234 you need to make room in your inbox! It's full

just cleared it!

I asked this earlier in the thread but where is everyone planning to live if accepted to Loma Linda ??

I live local

Can you give me some advice on what areas by the hospital I can look into? My lease ends soon. I am trying to look into all areas I may get a job at!

Have an interview with oncology as well on the 2nd :-) live and work in sd right now but I'm thinking I might commute from OC where I have family.

I am from OC. The commute seems so so. I am debating. If we both get in maybe we can carpool! Haha. Congrats though!

I live in Orange County right now so I would probably commute (about 45 mins) for the first few months. I have been checking out closer places out on Zillow out of curiousity (seriously jumping the gun lol).

You're invited to the carpool train too! Haha.

It's ok that we are jumping the gun. I know that I gotta plan ahead because they will probably extend offers or rejections around the same time my lease expires.

Specializes in Neonatal, NICU level IV.

I am coming from northern California and I have no idea where to live. :sorry:

I am also wondering what I am going to do if more than one hospital offers me a position. It's really hard to decide which hospital and which neighborhood when you have very little experience in the region. I have been to LA many times but I never considered living there until now.

In the end I am sure we will all figure it out and at this point I am just going to be excited if I get a JOB and figure the rest out then. ;)

I'm going to commute as well I live about 30 min from llu..... Not sure what is around that area as far as housing goes
