Hi! Thanks for starting this page. I recognize your name from other threads but don't remember which ones lol.

I applied to oncology. Did anyone else? I currently precept in hem/onc too.

Hi livelaughlove07! Yeah probably from the CHOC thread! Good luck!! I applied NICU!

Hi guys! I applied to hem/onc as well. Are you precepting at Loma Linda? Any idea on how many they're hiring?

Hey everyone, I applied to the PICU position. From out-of-state, and have been applying to the adult positions as well. Had a few apps forwarded to the manager, but nothing besides that except rejections from Loma Linda. Good luck to everyone!

I work in the PICU at LLUCH as a PCA and know for sure that the PICU, intermediate ICU, and CTICU/Solid Organ transplant are all hiring 2 residents each - that's the last I heard from the Nurse Manager (same nurse manager for all 3 units) a couple weeks ago. Good luck everyone!!!!

Has anyone heard anything?

Nope...nothing yet.

good luck to all!

Where do people generally live when working at LL? Any neighborhood apartment/housing suggestions? I wouldn't know what I would do in that area outside of work. I'm thinking about just commuting from Orange County. Who else is planning on commuting a long distance if they get hired?

I live close enough to commute. It would be about 45 minute commute depending on traffic. It depends on what you want to do. I have a friend that just landed a job at LLU and she moved to Redlands. There is a really nice apartment complex off Barton and New Jersey. I believe they are called Barton Vineyards.

Anyone know if LL plans to make calls before Thanksgiving?
