Loma Linda New Grad Oct. 2021 Cohort

Hello!

I noticed there was no existing forum for the Graduate Nurse Oct. 2021 cohort at LLUMC, so I thought I would create one for those of us who applied!! Based on the forum from last year’s Oct. cohort, it appears that interviews started rolling out after July 11th. So let’s see if that is the case this time around! Good luck!! ?

@Christiane Dizon sorry to bother again, did you accept the Med Surgy nights ? Do you know the floor ? Did they mentioned by any chance how much is the pay ? Have you received the HR papers ?  Thank you

Yes, they gave all the information (pay, floor, and etc) through an email! I have not yet received the HR papers.

Hey Christiane, do you mind share if you received the information from your unit manager or from HR? And did they let you know that you got the offer via phone call or email? Thanks!

I got a phone offer from the Unit Manager and a couple days later I was sent an email regarding the program

@Christiane Dizon did you sign the contract? Was it send by email ?

I believe the contract will be sent from HR! The email said that it should be arriving when the program date becomes closer

I ended up not getting selected for the Loma Linda October cohort, but I did get into St. Bernardine Medical Center for their October cohort, coincidentally starting their new grad program on the same day as Loma Linda. I’m kinda surprised I didn’t even get called for an interview since I’ve heard that the new hospital is very short on nurses and healthcare staff. Honestly IDK how it all works, but good luck and congrats to all who did land a spot in their new grad program!
