Loma Linda CRNA 2018

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello, has anyone received an interview invitation for LLU CRNA DNP 2018? Anyone know when LLU sends them out? Thank you in advance!

do you know if the HSRT has high impact on the admission ? i noticed every grad applicants have to take the test , not only CRNA applicatns.

I have no idea. I would assume the interview questions might be aimed at the results if the hsrt, but I have no clue since they aren't subject specific.

Anybody want to talk about how their interview went? Went to the campus orientation today and many seemed very nervous about their upcoming interviews.

I took the HSRT scored superior, but not sure what that means. Felt like the interview went well. How was it for you?

Felt like the interview went good. The time flew and didn't feel like 20 minutes. Seemed like a tough crowd. Didn't get a whole lot of emotion out of them. Was told I would find out most likely at the end of March. So my anxiety gets to run wild for the next 2 months.

My interview went like 10 mins... I totally messed up. Nobody even smiled at me. They told me to wait 2-3 wks before they got back to me. I don't set my hope high for this.

They are still interviewing people tho.

Daisy no one smiled at me either. I went in confidant and that was quickly crushed by the feeling of that room. Still feel like I did ok but definitely couldn't show my true colors and ambition with a crowd like that. Its unfortunate it has to be that way. I left disappointed.

Same experience here. At least they stay consistent. Holding out hope like the rest of you.

My wife works there and my cousin applied to the crna school last year but did not get an interview. Rumors are that they like their own employees who apply but there has not been any data to really back that up. I think my cousins pitfall was her social media accounts have a lot of alcohol consumption on it and they were set to public view. LLU I believe expects their students to be alcohol free during the duration of the program so I think that hurt her. The rest of her stats were above and beyond so that's all we could figure it to be. Haven't heard any response yet either and turned it in a week after it opened. What the director told me was that people will be contacted mid December for interviews in January. Since the deadline is the 15th I am guessing we will hear something around that date....Hopefully.

Last year, 5 RNs in MICU at their hospital applied, five of them got accepted. :/

I guess thats good news for MICU workers. Fingers crossed for some PICU love.

I wonder when they will start giving news. I think they had another set of interviews this week.

I was told a few weeks but some are saying a month? I hope its earlier than that.

yeah, I noticed that too. They told my friend a month, but told me 2-3 wks. I guess for ppl with 2-3 wks, either they really like them, or do not like them (not a good fit ?!?!) at all. Ppl with 1 month have high chance to be on the waitlist and get accepted. Idk! If I don't get accepted, I will apply and work for Loma Linda Medical Center. haha. jk
