Members are discussing the status of their job applications and interviews at various hospital units, such as maternity, step-down ICU, CVICU, oncology, ER, and NICU. Some members express anxiety and frustration over the process, while others offer advice on reapplying and gaining experience. There is also speculation about the interview process and timelines for hearing back from potential employers.
Hi everyone!
The 52nd LLUCH cohort application opened up today. We can talk here and keep each other updated!
Keep reapplying to the same hospitals and if that doesn't work, try to at least get some experience in any unit that accepts you (even if it's not one you really want), and then reapply to the unit that you really want after about a year or so. Maybe it will show them that you have experience now and are still interested in continuing your desired unit! don't give up, theres room for everyone in this career! ❤️

I just scheduled my interview to RUHS but their application window is very short, however, and I don't think they announce it ahead of time. My school notified us via e-mail and it was only a 3 day window. They also only opened ED and ICU for application.

I wouldnt necessary say this. From what I've heard from people who work there or have worked there. Some units interview a few people at a time and then schedule more interviews. Also some units wait till last minute to schedule interviews. We still have some weeks untils the interview process so honestly anything can happen 🙂
