Loma Linda BSN Winter 2019

Hey everyone! I decided to start a thread for those who applied to the Loma Linda BSN Winter 2019 program. Just thought this could be a great way of keeping each other updated on what goes on. I know we should be hearing back very soon so hopefully we can update each other on here when we hear back! Thanks and good luck to you all!

Did they say you were on the alternate list, and that you were accepted for spring? I wonder if we are in the same boat :) @ceecee94

@via_amanda Yes they told me that there was a chance of me getting in for Winter but if it's not possible that I am guaranteed for Spring quarter. Congrats on getting in! (:

I didn't get in for winter :( I had a 3.3 GPA and my teas score was a 73. Jasmin told me to retake it so I could have a higher chance of getting into spring quarter :( I've been feeling down lately I don't even know if nursing is really for me anymore

@bobamilktea Oh no! I know it's hard at first but I'm sure you can get in. You should most definitely reapply and try again! If you really feel like nursing is where your heart is, then you should go for it.

@bobamilktea. So sorry to hear that! Don't let one rejection discourage you. Focus on perfecting your TEAS score. Go over any areas of weaknesses and volunteer to get experience, then try again! You CAN do this!

@bobamilktea I was in the same shoes you were when I was first applying to nursing programs in community colleges. Just work on your teas score and retake any science course and try to aim for an A and B also if you have C's in any of your general courses retake them to boost your GPA. Trust me I been in your shoes and it's so heartbreaking and hard. But you can do it!

If you get into LLU, I'm finishing up 1st quarter.

I'm selling my books which are used for 1st Qaurter.
