Hey everyone, I have been looking for the thread for this upcoming cohort for Loma Linda Adults Fall 2025. Application closes today! Good luck 🙂

Congratulations! Are you able to tell us a little bit about how your interview went? 🙂
Thank you! My interview went really well. It was panel style with two charge nurses and the residency director. They went around and asked a few questions each and the interview was around 30 min? My initial screening interview video impressed them so I think that really helped. Regarding questions, they asked why Loma Linda and why that unit, words that describe me, why I should be hired, difficult situation/conflict, times I demonstrated patient education, my learning style, and time I made a mistake. Mostly behavioral and personality questions. The last half of the interview we kind of just chatted and I asked questions! Make sure to do your research beforehand and just be confident/ yourself, that helped me the most!! You all got it ◡̈

how did yall know what unit you would be interviewing for? Does it say it on our portal?
Same here, but my application still says interview phase so I guess I'll keep hoping for a few more days. Your application portal should say what specific unit. Mine has the generic application, and above it there's another slot that says oncology.

I think we should still hold on hope until their stated deadline.

Hi everyone! Just a tip that might be helpful for interviews, but I've been using chatgpt to create mock interviews for me. I insert the hospital/unit I'm applying for and ask it to generate specific questions tailored to the unit. I then use the audio function that will type out my response and it'll generate feedback for me which has been really helpful!
