Loma Linda Adults RN Residency Fall 2025

Published

Hey everyone, I have been looking for the thread for this upcoming cohort for Loma Linda Adults Fall 2025. Application closes today! Good luck 🙂

I checked as well. There's an additional bracket stating interview phase for neuro progressive. However, my top choices were any of the ICUs at their main campus.

Has anyone who applied to ICU as their first choice gotten their interview phase updated with an ICU unit?

Does anyone who applied to Murrieta campus, and has a status update to "interview phase", have a specific department? Or is it the main campus applicants who are getting specific departments?

mine isn't specific either for murrieta

My status just changed yesterday since I can see when my application was last updated it and it said 6/27/25. I know a lot of you, your application got updated on 6/26/25. The update was to "interview phase" but that's about it. No one has called me.

So this application the unit I wanted changed to interview phase, last cohort they changed it to a med surg floor I did not want and put "interview phase" but WAS NEVER CALLED. Do you guys thing I have a shot?

In the email it said that the interview phase is June 30-July 25 and this is when managers can call us so hopefully we start getting phone calls or emails soon.

For the Murrieta campus does anyone remember what units were open? Is it only Med Surg or are any other units participating?

nvm, I totally missed that mine said Surgical Care 14A. I guess I was looking for something that said ICU or SICU on it.

Hey congrats! Mine also says Surgical Care 14A. Do you or does anyone here know specifically what unit this is for? My first choice was Surgical/Neuro ICU, and second was trauma step down I believe. Thanks!

My first choice was also Surgical/Neuro ICU. It's a bummer that it's not for ICU, but I'm willing to start anywhere to get experience.

As per the Loma Linda Website:

"The Troesh Surgical and Trauma Care Units (14A and 15A *32-beds each) are step down inpatient units providing acute and intermediate levels of care to surgical and multi-system trauma patients. The unit provides continuous nursing care for young adults through geriatric adults under the care of the following services: Acute Care Surgery, General Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, ENT Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urological Surgery, and other specialty surgical services. Nursing care is designed to support patients requiring: continuous cardiac monitoring, pain management, nutritional support (TPN, enteral feedings), and wound care."

This was helpful. I'm on the same boat. Thank you! Good luck to both of us 😄

Mine updated to Surgical ICU-7A [Interview Phase]. The first time I applied months ago, it also got updated to the interview phase, but I never received a call for an interview. It still seems like a 50-50 chance as to whether they will actually interview you or not.
