The adult hospital just closed applications this past weekend, so let's update each other as the application process goes along! This is my second time applying and I hope to get into the OR

How do we know what unit we are being considered for? I did the 1 question screening but I don't see anywhere that specifies the unit

Hi! My question was "Why Loma Linda and something about what qualities I posses that can contribute to LLUH?”

If you applied to Murrieta it doesn't specify unit

From what I heard from classmates that were hired at Loma Linda, they do not pay as well as other SoCal hospitals like Kaiser or UC system, so it probably is $44.
My app got updated for the obs unit interviews! Wasn't my first or second choice but I've heard great things about there! So just waiting for the call now 🙏🏽

Congratulations! If it's 8100, then I think it's the Observation unit at LLUMC East Campus, which is located a minute or two down the road from the main hospital. If I remember correctly, 12A and 15A are medical and surgical stepdown, respectively.

Thank you! I believe you're right! it says both 12A and 11A. so I think I'm being considered for both? not sure but no email has been sent for an interview yet only the screening has been done 😮

Hooray! I just remembered that 11A and 12A are both medical stepdown--I'm being considered for 15A myself! I applied last cohort and it took about a week and a half from my screening interview to be emailed about an actual interview, so fingers crossed that it's the same and an email comes out sometime this week!

OMG how exciting! love love love. I was shooting for ICU but stepdown is actually a lot of fun and challenging in its own way. I'm excited for us, fingers crossed Acho 🙂
