Hello,

I am interested in finding out how much you can actually make as a LNC. What is really being charged for services (100-150hr)? As working at home for yourself with your own business are you getting enough business?

Please give me some input on your experiences.

Thank you!

Hello, sheekboutique,:balloons:

I am sure many of us charge differently. I know I do. It is not written in stone anywhere what you should charge. Totally up to you.

Yes, working at home is a great plan for me. Some do in house, but, that is salaried.

I would not have it any other way.

So, tell us a little about your business.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am very interested in the LNC program. I haven't started yet, still in research mode. I am probably going to take V.Milazzo's program. I really want to know realistically what nurses are earning as LNC's.

Please add your input.

Thank you

Hi,

I just took VM course in October and the fees she mentions$100-$150 are unrealistic in my area of the country(PNW) according to practicing LNC's, at least at first. People here are charging from $75 and up initially.

I am still working on marketing package and no cases yet. Have sent my resume to 2 law firms downtown but not heard anything yet. I am going to start marketing to local attorneys after holidays.

Good luck,

Sue

Hello, Hagabel,

Yes, LNCs must be competitive, that's true. In some areas it just makes sense to be inline with the competition.

In my area, I am the only practicing LNC and I have free reign with my fees.

I see many starting at $75.00/hr. and then raising fees later. Nothing wrong with that.

I see you are sending your resume' along with your marketing package? So, you do not plan on being expert witness at all? Some chose not to. It can be a scary thing to do it.

Good luck with your marketing. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
