U.S.A. New Jersey

Hello fellow nurses,
I am a new grad and am looking for jobs to apply to. I live in NJ (my commute to the city is about 45 min to the west side) and am weighing out my options. NYC pays significantly higher than NJ, but is it worth it with the commute? I am looking to start working at a bigger hospital. Any advice?

Can't comment on the NJ to NYC commute, but my work commute has been about 45 minutes for more than ten years. I work twelve hour shifts. I don't have to deal with a lot of traffic. I don't have to worry about child care. I am finally starting to get annoyed with the drive, but only because the traffic in my city is increasing.
