Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for LIU brooklyn BSN students of FALL 18. I will be starting my nursing/clinical phase in September 18 and I was admitted as a transfer student. Is anyone starting around the same time? Also, if you're a current student, is there any helpful feedback or advice you can provide for new students? How is the clinical experience? Professors? School in general? etc.
Thank you and hopefully we'll get to meet in school!
Heyy! How was everyone's first day of school? Btw I saw some people asking for textbooks and I rented ALL of them from Amazon and the prices were wayyyy cheaper than anywhere else I checked, so give it a shot. I didn't see many people wearing their uniforms which is good because I'm also still waiting on mine to be delivered. I did take the diagnostic test and felt like it was a bit too detailed especially since it was such short notice and my summer brain was in full effect. Hopefully it does not harm me down the road. Share your experiences on your first day, it'd love to hear about it!
Hey, the first day was pretty decent expect for some disappointments like changing of rooms and my lab professor for 220. Also not given the information for ATI code. Other than that not bad. I agree the diagnostic test was specific and didn't remember and wished I studied a little bit. But it is what it is. The textbooks are over price. I'm renting most on Chegg, the book I trying to figure out is for 220 bc we need the access code and don't want to spend 300 dollars. I heard on Amazon there is a textbook with code for 80 something but I'm a bit skeptical. How are you guys getting the Jarvis textbook for that class?
Hey Everybody. Hope your first day went well. I start a long day tomorrow so hope to report good things. Sending positive vibes for everyone to have a good semester.
Also, idk if we're allowed to share our classes & times on here. We might have classes together. Could someone get back to me on that?
Has anyone started Pharm with ----------------? If so I have a few question: is it mandatory to get the ati books on the syllabus?
Are we suppose to read the first 6 chapters before class?
Also does he want us to get the newer version of drug calculation?
Thanks for any information provided.
