LIU Accelerated Nursing Program SUMMER 2018

Anyone apply for the LIU ACCELERATED NURSING PROGRAM for Summer 2018? I submitted my application but they said they won't review until I have all my pre-reqs (microbio) and bachelor's degree on paper.

I submitted my application last month. I am a little worried now though because I see that the prequisites were recently updated on the liu website. I now notice biology and algebra as a preq which I don't have. I also no longer see the teas on the website. Very confusing. Planning to call today.

They did. I applied before the changes so the prior prerequisites applied. If you have questions or issues definitely call more than once as you get different answers from admissions. I just made my deposit yesterday.

Hey! I thought I was the only one that noticed that LIU changed their site and requirements. I noticed that the TEAS exam is not listed on their site anymore. LIU's admission department though is a hassle to get through to. I meant to ask them if they still require the TEAS exam. Did you ever find out?? That's odd that Biology is a pre-req. I wonder if A+PI/II and Micro suffice for that bio requirement...

I don't have bio or algebra and my app changed to approved in February. I'm not sure if it was because I applied before the website changes. It is a little confusing because the testing tab on the website still says teas is required to advance to professional stage. I forwarded my teas score 2 days ago to be on the safe side. I plan to call admissions tomorrow since I haven't gotten an acceptance letter or anything else as yet.

Yes you can check your application. Go back on the website and select any of the APPLY NOW buttons. Then select already have an account at top and log in with the email and password that you used when you applied. Once you log in you can press CHECK STATUS.
