Littmann Master Cardiology??

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Hi All,

I realize there are several threads on stethoscopes...I didn't find much on the Master Cardiology. I just got one of these as a gift and am trying to decide if I should keep or sell (still brand new and in the box) for a different model.

1. Does anyone have any experience with the Littmann Master Cardiology?

2. Does it present any difficulties for pediatrics since it is doesn't have a smaller chestpiece?

...thinking of going with the Cardiology III, but wanted some input before I make a decision.

Thanks in advance!! :)

I just ordered mine on June 30th! It was a birthday girft from my mom!! I have been patiently waiting for it to arrive, constantly checking my door step to see if it came but nothing yet. I am super excited to get it, hopefully it won't let me down, and from these post I can tell it prob won't.

I just got mine from the fedex guy today. It is A M A Z I N G! The clarity is just unreal and since it has the polished stainless steel chestpiece it eliminates alot of noise from manipulating the chestpiece while using it. I too have an el-cheapo that I started with. I was gonna keep my cheapo but at this point I'm just gonna give it away, I could never go back. Huge thanks are in order to the gift giver.

I had a Littmans Master cardiology stethoscope and I loved it, so did the mouse that chewed through the tubing. I plan on getting another one and keeping it in a hard plastic case.

well if it was just the tubing that suffered the "injury" you should be able to just replace that, the chestpiece is probably fine. The tubing is much cheaper to replace I think that the whole thing.
