I debated the same thing and ended up going with the cardio 3. Firstly because of the pediatric head as I do peds this fall. Also the peds head can become a bell if need be. I just figured I'd stick with the old saying that "Two heads are better than one". And I wanted the copper color that was only in the cardio 3.
I haven't noticed that. I can't see how it would though unless you had your finger in it maybe? I have my fingers on the actual metal rim when listening. What is difficult until you know what your listening for is breath sounds. As you hear your "lub-dub's" you also hear inhales/exhales. But I believe that is with any scope. I heard that as well with my SE 2, but this cardio 3 really blows that outta the water. I really doubt you'll have trouble hearing more things, but for one thing you will indeed hear what your supposed to =)

I've had a Littmann II Classic SE but I'm wanting to upgrade. I just don't know if I want a Littmann Cardiology III or a Littmann Master Cardiology III.
Any suggestions??? I know they're both good so any advice would be very helpful.
