No, I'm sorry. I never got as far as even applying. I decided to put my nursing career on hold to focus on my kids and am in the process of starting an in-home business!
I don't know much about Little Sisters of the Poor except that they are non-profit, which was appealing to me as an RN after a bad experience at a nursing home that put profits ahead of patients. (Sadly, an all too common occurrence)
I hope you find the right place for your mother-in-law...best of luck in your decision.
Little sisters is a very nice place to have a resident live in! I work in one in NJ. It truly is a home to the resident it does have that nursing home smell or feel, it's beautiful. The nuns take great care of the residents right up until they die. When a resident is dying they do the most beautiful things for them and the resident is never alone. I hope you were able to get your family member in

Anyone worked or know much about this facility? I read about it online and was intrigued- am looking for a good LTC in the area to work as an RN. Thanks!
