Ok, here's the scoop, spent 15 years in the Military(National Guard) working on the Medical Side of the house! My full time job is Printing with the Commonwealth of Pa. I love helping people and I have been told by many that I am wasting my time sitting behind a Printing Press. Now, here's the deal I am seriously comtemplating a Career Change to become an LPN. I want to know from anyone out there? LPN worth it or not for a 33 year old Male. Or do you think I am to old! Help, because I am burned out in the Printing Part of my life, just sick of my job that I have had for the past 12 years. Want to go home at the end of the day and feel like I have accomplished something.:)

I became an LPN at age 47. There were others in my class in my age bracket and some older.

I know a nurse who became an LVN at age 55, and she is now 57. I completed LVN school nearly 3 months ago and the oldest students in my class were ages 43, 38, 34, 33, 29, and 28. At age 33 you are definitely young enough to consider the career change.

You'r never to old to learn something new. I am 30 and am working on my ADN. I will be done with that in 2 years. I want to continue online to get my BSN and ultimately get my MSN to teach. I had a nursing class with a man that was in his 60's.
